Frame and suspension work

The frame was in good condition only needing a small rust repair in front of the left forward spring perch.  The original drive train, front and rear suspension were all removed, original welds were blended then the new 350 engine and tranny were installed.  A new IFS system with power rack-n-pinion steering and power disc brakes from Jim Myer Racing was installed.  This was the first time they had made one for a Nomad, it fit up just fine but ultimately I had to replace the springs for a heavier rate.  The original 3.55 rear end was rebuilt and reinstalled on Posies lowering leaf springs.  The rear end ratio would later be changed to a 3.08 for better cruse rpm.  Everything was sand blasted and painted by Zion Enterprises in Middleboro, MA. Prior to reassembly.
